In 1999 a few sober bikers in Philadelphia were invited to a COC meeting for the first time, something that was little known among the general biker comunity then. We were strangers too the hierarchyof the big club we belonged to.We wanted to have a tighter knit brotherhood of oldschool club but sober. Looking for support in the Philly area we found none in the sober community but the Pagans offered us their hand right away. My first sponsor for ten years in AA was Wrongway Joe,a since deceased Pagan brother and a beautiful dude.We are all long time ACQUITTED addicts and alcoholics who belong to this club.We allow ourselves to hang with those who do what we don't because the Big Book says we can after some time. We support each other and never had a member go back out to the  "life".We have a good time and we make good ,loyal friends and we reach out to the biker community to whever might nreed help in recovery and have lost their life to chemicals. I am thirty years plus sober, John Liittle Horse 17 years, One Eyed Jack 13 years,Whitey is many years clean and sober etc,etc. Some of us stayed, some went on to be outlaw, some moved but I can't think of one that went back out.We tried to spread out to other areas but this is where autonomy is basic to our club chapters..I like it here.We are runnig exclusively out of Philly and NJ. We have been for almost all of our existance exclusively a support club for our local 16's and this is due to the support they have showed us all these years in our own struggle . This has been our good fortune over these years.
